Students will learn to apply theory to practice, and they will gain a deeper understanding of the cooperation between the public and private sectors and the role of knowledge-based society and sustainable development in Thailand’s future. In the course of the program, students will acquire new knowledge of management and capabilities to foster good governance, organizational development, and sustainable cooperation between the private and public sectors.

Qualification of Applicants
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or are studying in last semester (and to graduate before first intake start) in any field from a university or institution accredited by the Commission on Higher Education.

conducted by standard organization or representative of the government from applicants’ country (Applicant might get the permission to not provide evidence of English Proficiency or might require to attend English Foundation in case of failure from this English criteria, considered by course committee and shall approve by the Dean.
Remark: *Document in 4.1 – 4.4 that are in a language other than English must be officially translated. The translations must be done and certified by government organizations or officially recognized organizations such as consulate of that country.

Basic Courses (are courses that teach basic knowledge students should already know to prepare them for the master’s degree course. The basic courses offered for the Graduate School of Public Administration are as follows)
(1) ND.4000 Foundation for Graduate Studies or attend the Class of Foundation for Graduate studies. (This class is compulsory for International students)
(2) LC.4001 Reading Skills Development in English for Graduate Studies.(International students must get NIDA TEAP score not less than 660 instead, to meet this requirement)
(3) LC.4002 Integrated English Language Skills Development.(International students must get NIDA TEAP score not less than 660 instead, to meet this requirement)
(4) LC.4011 Remedial Reading Skills Development in English for Graduate Studies. (International students must get NIDA TEAP score not less than 660 instead, to meet this requirement)

Scholarship requirement
The National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) is accepting applications for admission to the Master of Public and Private Management Program (English Program) for the academic year 1/2019. NIDA is granting scholarship:
Scholarship Type 2: Scholarship recipients shall be waived from tuition fees throughout the program of study.

Qualification of Applicants
1.1 Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or are studying in last semester (and to graduate before first intake start), minimum GPA 2.75 in any field from a university or institution accredited by the Commission on Higher Education.
1.2 Applicants who graduated from abroad must provide a letter of accreditation for received degrees that is issued by Commission on Higher Education.

2.2.1 Download the application form and print out on A4 paper only, do not change the format of the form, otherwise, it will not be accepted for the application process.

4.8.2 An Official Letter of Certification for their Bachelor’s Degree with their University Council’s approval as well as a complete transcript with the specified date of graduation which must be sent directly from the applicant’s university to the address below:

4.9 Applicants are required to submit a test score of either 500 for TOEFL, 5.5IELTS, 500 NIDA TEAP or the Test of English Proficiency that conducted by standard organization or representative of the government from applicants’ country (Applicant might get the permission to not provide evidence of English Proficiency or might require to attend English Foundation in case of failure from this English criteria, considered by course committee and shall approve by the Dean.
Note:
1) The documents mentioned in 4.8.1 and 4.8.2 above, must be submitted before the start of the first semester. Applicants who fail to submit all required documents will not be admitted to the program.
2) In case applicant has already been accepted but the document in 4.8.1 is disqualified by the approval of Bureau of Standards and Evaluation at the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Education, student status will be automatically terminated, or subject to NIDA council’s discretion.
3) Evidence of English Literature must be submitted before first semester ends.
NIDA reserves the right to verify the applicants’ qualifications at any time. Applications who do not have the required qualifications will not be admitted to the program. No refunds will be issued. If an applicant has already been accepted but is subsequently determined to be disqualified, scholarship awards will automatically be canceled.

Terms and Conditions for Scholarship Recipients
5.1 Eligibility for Scholarship
Qualification of the recipient Scholarship Type 2 must have:
– A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 for the Bachelor’s Degree
5.2 Amount of the scholarships’ funding
– Recipients of the Scholarship Type 2 shall receive tuition waivers all through the program.
5.3 Scholarship Criteria
5.3.1 Recipients of the Scholarship Type 2 shall maintain a minimum GPA of 3.30 in each semester. If the recipients receive GPA lower than stipulated, the scholarship shall be terminated.
5.3.2 The recipient’s leave of absence, the scholarship shall be immediately terminated. After receiving scholarship, if the recipient resigned, or the student status terminates, or the recipients cannot complete the program as stipulate in the Directives on Education, all the funding paid must be repaid to the Institute, unless the committee decides otherwise.
5.3.3 In case scholarship recipients must re-enroll any course, the recipient shall not receive tuition waiver for the course re-enrolled.
5.3.4 In case that the scholarship recipients enroll in any course other than required by the program, the tuition waiver shall be granted when the course is recommended by the thesis/dissertation Advisor.
5.3.5 Scholarship recipients shall be exempt from the fee for the first-time comprehensive examination only, Consecutive comprehensive examinations shall not be exempt.
5.3.6 When the scholarship period ends, the student status retention fee shall be paid by scholarship recipients themselves.
5.3.7 Scholarship recipients shall work for the graduate school or the
Institute at least 6 hours a week;
5.3.8 The recipient shall not be eligible for any other scholarships of the
Institute except for the government budget thesis/dissertation publication grants
5.4 Scholarship conditions
1) Independent studies must present in an academic meeting with Proceedings and peer reviews under the condition that the full paper is published, or
2) Being award-winner in a competition or in an academic contest which must be the competition or the contest approved by the Dean of the school the recipient belongs to, or
3) Being presented to a development organization or community, which are approved by the Dean of the school the recipient belongs to. Yet, the development project must be validated by the executive of the organization or community.
5.5 The recipients who are foreign students must purchase health insurance stipulated by the Institute; otherwise the scholarship shall be terminated.
5.6 Standard Duration of Scholarship (Counting from the first day when the scholarship recipient is registered as a student) for Master Program is 2 years.
