💠 This immersive, in-person short-term program brings together undergraduate students from AUN member universities to explore contemporary regional and global challenges through academic exchange, cultural engagement, and experiential learning.

𝟓. 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬:
🔷 UBD invites VNUHCM to nominate up to 06 students.
🔷 HCM-IU is allowed to nominate 𝟎𝟐 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 for VNUHCM.
𝟔. 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚:
🔷 Be full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled at member or affiliated institutions of VNUHCM.
🔷 Have good academic performance, with preference given to students with outstanding academic achievements.
🔷 Possess good English proficiency (with proof).
🔷 Demonstrate the ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds; preference will be given to those with experience in extracurricular activities and cultural exchange, particularly ASEAN-related activities.
🔷 Exhibit leadership potential, teamwork, and strong communication skills; preference will be given to students with achievements or certifications related to extracurricular activities.
🔷 Commit to full participation in the Program.
𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲:
🔷 Students have been nominated/selected (in official lists) for other AUN Summer Programs in AY 2025-2026.
🔷 Students have registered for summer semester AY 2025-2026. Note: If students manage to acquire written permission for leave from the School/in-charge lecturers, their eligibility may be considered.
🔷 Students not having permissions for leave from lecturers to participate in the program.
🔷 Students working on Thesis in the 2nd semester of AY 2025-2026.
🔷 Students who have been approved for graduation.
🔷 Students on gap year/semester at the time of application and until the end of the program.
🔷 Joint-program students who have transferred to the partner university abroad.
𝟕. 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬:
🔷 Selected students are required to pay only a subsidized program fee of 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟏𝟎𝟎. NOTE: Students only have to pay after official selection results from UBD (Brunei).
🔷 The organizing committee will cover accommodation; daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner); domestic transportation, airport transfers; academic sessions, workshops, and cultural excursion.
🔷 HCM-IU will cover airfare and insurance as follows:
• Airfare: max. 5,000,000 VND per student.
• Insurance: max. 500,000 VND per student.
🔷 Participating students are responsible for the remaining airfare (if any), additional insurance costs, meals, and other personal expenses.
𝟖. 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

🔷 Certified copy of passport (valid for at least six months from the Program start date).
🔷 Official academic transcripts in both Vietnamese and English, certified by HCM-IU: Please request at the Office of Undergraduate Affairs (O2.708) or via online portal (https://onlinerequestoaa.hcmiu.edu.vn/login/?next=/)
🔷 Proof of English language proficiency (strongly recommended to make your application competitive).
🔷 Supporting documents for leadership experience, extracurricular activities, and cultural exchange (if any).
🔷 Supporting documents for academic achievements (if any).
𝟗. 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞:
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏: Candidates submit their soft and hard copies of the application documents to the Center for International Mobility (CIM)

🔷 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐬: Submit one complete hard copy set of all documents (as listed in Section 😎 to the Center for International Mobility 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝟐.𝟔𝟎𝟒 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝟏𝟎 𝐀𝐌, 𝟐𝟗 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲).
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟐: HCM-IU reviews applications and nominates 02 students for VNUHCM. VNUHCM shortlists and selects 06 students from all member universities to nominate for UBD.
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟑: Shortlisted students complete the online application form before 14 May 2026.
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟒: Selected students complete final paperwork/online application under UBD’s guidance. HCM-IU will provide assistance with required documents (if any student from HCM-IU is officially selected).
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟓: Selected students officially participate in the program.
