STUDENT ALPHA PITCH (SAP)
An IDG Production, DEMO is the Launchpad for emerging technologies and trends worldwide for over 24 years. Since last year, IDG ASEAN has partnered with the U.S. Department of State to organize the DEMO ASEAN in Vietnam.
This year the 2nd DEMO ASEAN is taking off with a greatly expanded scale with the added financial support of Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology, partnership with Vietnam Silicon Valley Project over entrepreneurship programs, and increase in number of participating startups, investors and international VC firms.
In the DEMO activities, Student Alpha Pitch (SAP) is the technological competition seeking new talents and breakthroughs from Vietnamese students in Universities/ Colleges. This will be a launch pad for students, who have desire, vision and IT ideas, SAP 2014 will follow you on the path of seeking new talents and breakthroughs.
2 rounds:
Round 1: Online application (Deadline: Aug 15th 2014)
- 1 writing proposal that states clearly your idea’s description, origins, benefits and developments (PDF File, maximum of 15 pages)
- 1 presentation file in English (It can be a Video clip, or Prezi, minimum 1 minute)
- 1 logo design of your idea product in JPG, PNG or GIF format
- CVs of each contestant

Round 2: Pitching your idea ( HCMC, Sep 27th, 2014)
- 90 seconds to present your idea on DEMO stage
- 3 minutes to answer questions from the panel of judges
- Top 3 will be announced at the end of conference
